The Boston Regatta started in 1965, and is the largest 3-day regatta in the world. It brings thousands of rowers each year to the Charles River to compete in the largest 3-day event.  This year (2021), more than 11,000 rowers from around compete during October 22-24. The Regatta was canceled in 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic, but it back in 2021 bigger and better! I went top see the event on Sunday, October 24. This was my first time attending the Octoberfest at Harvard Square, Cambridge, Massachusetts on Sunday October 11, 2015 and it was a blast! Incredible music, wonderful diversity of food, and lots of arts and craft booths - all in one place and all for free. The weather was just perfect too and I was surrounded by happy people with positive spirits all around me. I could not have picked a better place to spend my Sunday at. I mostly gravitated toward music during the day, I hope to give you a visual tour of the music scene at the fest. Hopefully it will inspire you to attend the fest in the future if you happen to be in the area. The events were just outside the campus of historic Harvard University. The easiest way to get there is by the Boston T (underground train).
